The resolutions set out the rules in the state control, which include:

-        the assessing of the conformity of the imported seeds with the requirements for varietal and sowing (planting) characteristics of seeds of agricultural plants, including additional (special) requirements for varietal and sowing (planting) properties of seeds imported into the Russian Federation;

-        sampling of imported seeds for testing and (or) assessment, including for the detection of genetically modified organisms in imported seeds, in accordance with national and interstate standards.
