This draft National Technical Regulation stipulates the requirements for the limits of technical characteristics and management in the verification of fire fighting and prevention equipment included in the mandatory verification list of fire fighting and prevention prior to market release in Vietnam in accordance with the provisions of the Law.

This draft Regulation does not apply to imported fire fighting and prevention equipment in the form of samples, goods exhibited ay at exhibitions or fairs; goods temporarily imported for re-export, goods in transit not to be consumed and used in Vietnam This draft National Technical Regulation applies to: Organizations and individuals that manufacture, assemble, domestically rebuild, and import fire fighting and prevention equipment; Authorities and organizations in charge of verifying fire fighting and prevention equipment; Competent authorities and organizations responsible for quality control of fire fighting and prevention equipment.
