The notified draft Mexican Official Standard is applicable to all radioactive materials and packages containing them intended to be transported in the national territory. It sets the A1 value for special form radioactive material and the A2 value for non-special form radioactive material. It also sets the activity concentration limits for radioactive material and the activity limits for consignments that permit their exemption from regulatory requirements during their transport.
