The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by tungsten halogen and filament lamps, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting human safety and preventing deceptive practices.
It applies to the following products:
Tungsten halogen lamps and tungsten filament lamps for domestic use and similar general lighting purposes, with the following characteristics:
· Rated power not exceeding 250 W
· Rated voltage between 50 V and 250 V
