Procurement statistics, statistics databases and procurement notice databases

The National Agency for Public Procurement’s regulations (UFS 2023:xx) amending the National Agency for Public Procurement’s regulations (UFS 2020:1) on data collection for statistical purposes

The regulations contain provisions supplementing the Procurement Statistics Act (2019:668) and the Procurement Statistics Ordinance (2020:332). The regulations specify in greater detail the provisions of the Act and the Ordinance and contain implementing rules for operators of registered procurement notice databases.
The present amending regulations contain, among other things, revised provisions on the requirements for registered procurement notice databases in terms of data storage, as well as amendments and additions to the technical documentation, describing in more detail how statistical data shall be digitally compiled and sent to the National Agency for Public Procurement.

The regulations are not considered to be an obstacle for operators wishing to enter the Swedish market for procurement notice services. Anyone may apply for registration, regardless of legal form and domicile.
