ELOT TS 1501-14-01-02-01 Partial demolition of reinforced concrete elements with preservation of reinforcement
The purpose of this Technical Specification is to lay down the requirements for the partial demolition of reinforced concrete construction parts (elements) with the preservation of existing reinforcement, in order to:
• carry out reinforcement/restoration works on plates that have signs of reinforcement corrosion
• add new bearing elements to existing bearing body by linking the new to the existing reinforcement (by placing or welding)
• remove the loose or dismantled parts of the element's concrete and reveal the existing reinforcement, so that the extent and nature of the required restoration and/or reinforcement interventions can be determined (by the Supervisor of the Study).
