Revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 712 part 8, dealing with transportable gas cylinders for medical gases. The major differences between the old version and this new revised draft standard are as follow:

·         Adds new gases to Table 1 (Medical gases) in section 5 (Marking - General);

·         Adds to section 8.1 the following:

o    A new requirement that a marking label shall be affixed to each cylinder;

o    New marking requirement.

This new draft will enter into force one year after publication in Israel's Official Gazette.
