The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by mercury vapour lamps, sodium vapour lamps and metal halide lamps for general lighting, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting human safety and preventing deceptive practices.
It applies to the following products:
· High-pressure mercury vapour lamps
· High-pressure sodium vapour lamps
· Low-pressure sodium vapour lamps
