The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control under the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, Government of Nepal, has proposed a Quality and Safety standard of Masyaura, a traditional product of Nepal, prepared usually from Black gram flour and shredded Colocasia stem and other vegetables, in order to protect consumers and ensure fair trade.
