This draft Commission Implementing Decision does not renew the approval of sulfuryl fluoride as an active substance for use in biocidal products of product-types 8 and 18. Requested information by the evaluating competent authority on reproductive toxicity and endocrine-disrupting (ED) properties of the substance was not provided by the applicant and, therefore, it was not possible to determine whether the active substance meets the exclusion criteria referred to in Article 5(1), points (c) and (d), of Regulation (EU) No 528/2012. Moreover, due to the insufficient information related to ED and reproductive toxicity, it was not possible to conclude whether sulfuryl fluoride has unacceptable effects to human health and the environment.
