ICS 11.040.70 Ophthalmic equipment

Ministerial Decree No. 1307/2017 (2 pages, in Arabic) mandating the Egyptian Standard ES 8134/2017 "Ophthalmic optics – Mounted spectacle lenses" (28 pages, in Arabic)

The Ministerial Decree No. 1307/2017 gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 8134/2017 which is concerned with the essential requirements for mounted spectacle lenses relative to the prescription order (multifocal and progressive-power lenses) 

Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with ISO 21987:2009
