Ban on the use of the following substances in antibacterial products: cloflucarban; fluorosalan; hexylresorcinol; methylbenzethonium chloride; secondary amyl tricresols; sodium oxychlorosene; triclocarban; and triclosan.
Antibacterial products (without a therapeutic effect) used for personal hygiene purposes in the home and in public places are registered with ANMAT under the category "Personal hygiene products, cosmetics and perfumes".
