Electronic communications services (as defined in Directive (EU) 2018/1972) and mobile telephony services

The Swedish National Post and Telecom Agency’s regulations and general advice on the use of numbersfrom the Swedish telephone numbering plan and requirements for calling line identification.

The provisions in the attached regulations, which the Swedish National Post and Telecom Agency(hereinafter ‘the Agency’) considers may be subject to the notification obligation under the Ordinance(1994:2029) on technical rules, are as follows:

Section 7 If the calling telephone number of a call to Sweden via an international interconnection interface is aredirected number, the call shall be forwarded after the calling telephone number has been concealed from thecalled subscriber.
Section 8 In the case of calls within Sweden from telephone numbers with an elevated call charge, the callingnumber shall be concealed from the called subscriber.
