Revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 1498 part 8, dealing with the safety requirements for playgrounds. The major differences between the old version and this new revised draft standard are as follow:

·         Removes the accessibility requirement for playground larger than 150 m², except for playgrounds in kinder-gardens and day-cares; Removes from Table 4 the column dealing with lifted components.
