The Regulation lays down the safety criteria for general andparticular risks that toys must meet before they placed on the market.This Regulation is harmonised with EU Directive 2009/48/EC of the European Parliamentand of the Council of 18 June 2009 on the safety of toys.Regulation covers product types being marketed especially to the most sensitive/criticalconsumer type: children/baby.
