Draft Thai Industrial Standard for Low Carbon Steel Wire Rods (TIS 348-25xx) (10 pages, in Thai)

The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) has proposed towithdraw TIS 348-2540 (1997) for low carbon steel wire rods, and replaced it withTIS 348-25xx as a mandatory standard. This standard covers steel bars of circular crosssection which may be used for the manufacture of steel wires. This standard does notcover wire rods for the manufacture of core wire of welding electrodes, nor does it coversteel bars and steel wire rods of circular cross section, which have been already specifiedin TIS standards. However, this standard is not appropriate to be used for concretereinforcement.
