The notified document informs the phytosanitary authorities of Panama's trading partners that, pursuant to the statutory powers granted to the Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA) by Law No. 206 of 30 March 2021 establishing the Panamanian Food Agency (APA), the National Directorate of Plant Health of MIDA has updated the PIRs for onions, potatoes, rice and dry beans for human consumption and/or processing, originating in the countries indicated in each PIR. In this regard, please find attached the 28 PIRs so that the trading partners specified under point 4 may make any comments they consider necessary, to be sent to the following email address: vigilanciafito@mida.gob.pa.
