The notified Technical Regulation sets out technical elements for the nutrition labelling of pre-packaged foods for human consumption.

The labelling of pre-packaged fresh foods is governed by the domestic provisions of each State Party. The notified Technical Regulation does not apply to unprocessed foods or to processed products packaged in the presence of the consumer.
