Draft Mexican Official Standard PROY-NOM-168-SEMARNATASEA- 2016: Maximum permissible levels for emissions from aeroderivative open-cycle or combined-cycle gas turbines, and the measurement thereof

The notified text is binding on natural and legal personsresponsible for new or existing gas turbines, and systems comprising two or more gasturbines, with an overall nominal power rating exceeding 0.5 MW, which are powered bygaseous or liquid fuel and used in industry, commerce and services.It does not cover the following: gas turbines with a nominal power rating of less than0.5 MW for electricity generation; existing gas turbines with a nominal power rating notexceeding 10 MW for generating mechanical power; gas turbines used during emergenciesor disasters; back-up turbines; existing turbines used on off-shore platforms; and existingturbines used in systems isolated from the national power grid.
