The notified Order prohibits the use of certain veterinary medicines and products listed in the annex to the Order, in livestock and aquaculture animals, as well as in products of animal origin. This requirement arises from the European Union Regulation, with which we must comply despite the fact that the Codex Alimentarius has not yet developed a standard on the prohibition of certain veterinary medicines.
