Detailed Standards for Determining the Legality of Imported Timber and Timber Products (4 pages, in Korean)

The standards regulates timber and relevant products subject to import declaration, and specifies the scope of documentations that can prove timber legality, in accordance with the Act on the Sustainable Use of Timbers and relevant regulations.

Compared to the previous notification in 2018(G/TBT/N/KOR/757), the provisions for regulated items are deleted. Instead, the regulated items and their harmonized tariff codes are addressed in the Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Sustainable Use of Timbers, as already notified in 2023(G/TBT/N/KOR/1104). There's no difference in the scope of the items. Also, attached TABLE is updated as of November 2023 for references.
