The requirements of the existing standard, SI 62560, dealing with the safety specifications of self-ballasted LED-lamps, shall be declared mandatory. This declaration is in line with the mandatory standardization objective to protect human safety.
The standard adopts the international standard IEC 62560 - Edition 1.0: 2011-12 and Amendment 1: 2015-04, with a few changes that appear in the standard's Hebrew section.
