Regulation of the Minister for Climate and the Environment on methods of testing the quality of liquid fuels

The draft Regulation sets out methods for testing the quality of liquid fuels, i.e. petrol and diesel.

The draft has been developed on the basis of the test methods specified in the following standards:
- PN-EN 228+A1:2017-06 Automotive fuels - Unleaded petrol - Requirements and test methods, and
- PN-EN 590:2022-08 Automotive fuels--Diesel--Requirements and test methods.
The Regulation is necessary to determine the quality of liquid fuel samples taken by the Trade Inspection aspart of a system for monitoring and controlling the quality of liquid fuels in Poland. Testing laboratoriesconducting quality tests shall rely on the test methods set out in this Regulation.
