The Order contains rules on the fitting-out and equipping of vehicles when vehicles have obtained or are toobtain a national individual approval. Thus, unmodified EU type-approved vehicles are not subject to this. Inaddition, the Order contains similar rules for converted vehicles that are to be approved, regardless of whetheror not they were originally EU type-approved vehicles.

The Order also contains provisions on the use of vehicles where subject to the Road Traffic Act.
Annex 1 contains the basic technical requirements for new vehicles as well as requirements on convertedvehicles where the conversion concerned is not described in Annex 2.
Annex 2 contains the technical requirements on converted vehicles irrespective of the type of approval. Thismeans that EU type-approved vehicles that are converted are also subject to the requirements in Annex 2.
Annex 3 contains an overview of the Regulations, Directives and UN Regulations referred to in Annexes 1 and2.
Certain provisions resulting from the AFI Directive (Directive 2014/94/EU of the European Parliament and ofthe Council of 22 October 2014 on the deployment of alternative fuels infrastructure) have previously beennotified in accordance with the Information Procedure Directive.
