Regulation of the State Secretary for Infrastructure and Water Management of , No IENW/BSK-2023/,amending the Environmental Regulations (due to the update of the PM10 measurement method and PGS 25and PGS 29).

The Environmental Regulations are amended by this amending regulation due to the update of two PGSDirectives, namely PGS 25 and PGS 29. The Environmental Regulations refer to these Directives in Annex II.The update should therefore also be implemented in the Environmental Regulations.

PGS stands for ‘Publicatiereeks Gevaarlijke Stoffen’ [Publication Series on Hazardous Substances]. The PGSis a guide for companies that produce, transport, store or use hazardous substances and for the authoritiesresponsible for supervision of these companies. The provisions in the amending regulation may containtechnical requirements. The publication series reflects the state of the art and, where relevant, refers toregulations and conditions, as is currently the case with PGS 25 (Directive on the safe, environmentally safeand fire-safe application of installations for the delivery of natural gas and biogas to motor vehicles) and PGS29 (Directive on safe above-ground storage of flammable liquids in vertical
cylindrical tanks).
The Environmental Regulations already contain a system of mutual recognition provisions (Article 1(3)). Thisamending regulation does not give any reason to change this.
