The attached draft Order on the technical compatibility of vehicles with the railway network withcorresponding annexes aims to lay down national rules for the open points of a number of TSIs.

Draft Order on the technical compatibility of vehicles with the railway network

The draft contains a national reference list for the overall requirements that apply to the compatibility ofrailway vehicles with the railway network. The list refers to the standards (EN) and technical specifications forinteroperability (TSIs) that are to be applied in order for a respective vehicle to be considered compatible withthe Danish railway network.

The Order will include the following amendments, as compared to legislation currently in force:
- some of the previous national requirements have been eliminated;
- New and updated versions of TSIs have been included
- A general update of the annexes to make it clearer to the designated bodies how to verify vehicles so thatthey are compatible with the Danish railway network.
- 2 new kinematic reference lines are included in Annex 7.
