Regulation of the State Secretary for Infrastructure and Water Management of..., laying down rules on thepyro-pass (Pyro-pass Regulation)

The purpose of this Regulation is to implement a Benelux Decision regarding pyrotechnic articles (Decisionof the Benelux Committee of Ministers on the introduction of a pyro-pass – M (2020) 14 (Benelux OfficialJournal 2021, No 1), as amended by M (2022) 9.

Article 1 sets out the requirements for the pyro-pass application, such as personal and contact details andcopy of registration as a fireworks arranger/fireworks operator and/or application permit/environmental permit.Article 2 states that the pyro-pass model is set out in the Annex. The Fireworks Decree already contains asystem of mutual recognition provisions. This Regulation does not give any reason to change this. The samepyro-pass model is used in Belgium and Luxembourg.
