Draft Act amending certain acts in relation to improving the business environment and reducingadministrative burden

At present, the law stipulates that every establishment trading in precious metals must be equipped withspecified measuring instruments; this also applies to the sale of goods outside the establishments. Byamending the Hallmarking Act, we propose introducing an exemption from this obligation for businesses thattrade exclusively in silver goods where the weight of one piece does not exceed 10 grams.

The draft Act also abolishes the obligation to mark below-threshold goods with a responsibility mark. Theobligation to mark the goods with a purity number is maintained.
