Stockholm Municipality local traffic regulations for a class 3 low-emission zone

The Road Traffic Ordinance governs which vehicles are permitted within various low-emission zones and itis up to the municipality to determine which areas shall constitute a low-emission zone. Chapter 4 of the RoadTraffic Ordinance (1998:1276) governs permitted vehicles.

Low-emission zones may be imposed in particularly sensitive areas within urban areas. The SwedishTransport Agency wrote an impact assessment that formed the basis for the new low-emission zone classes, 2and 3.
