The preliminary draft relates to certain elements of electronic communications networks

Preliminary draft law amending the law of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications

In view of incidents that have been occurring when routing emergency calls, the preliminary draft lawimposes an obligation on the operators referred to in Article 107(3) of the Law of 13 June 2005 on electroniccommunications to use a redundancy system for those calls. In the absence of such a solution on the market,the preliminary draft law provides for a mechanism to designate operators responsible for offering a solution ofthis kind, as well as the costs this incurs being reimbursed by means of a fund financed by the sector.
