Regulations amending the Swedish Transport Agency’s regulations and general guidelines (TSFS 2023:37)on transport of long indivisible loads

Amendment of the recently decided TSFS 2023:37 on transport of long indivisible loads, which containsprovisions allowing transport on roads that are not private roads with long indivisible loads despite theprovisions in Chapter 4, Section 17, first paragraph of the Traffic Ordinance (1998:1276). In addition to alinguistic and consequential amendment of transitional provisions, they contain an addition that means thatsigns under Section 12 may be both E-labelled under ECE Regulation 104 and ECE-Regulation 150, insteadof just 104 c.

The draft does not include a mutual recognition clause since it does not contain provisions that would make aclause relevant.
The proposal concerns Council Directive 96/53/EC but does not go beyond the obligations arising from thatDirective.
