- drug policy- the proposed legislation restricts the free trade in further psychotropic substances placed on Schedule I pursuant to the Convention on Psychotropic Substances, and other psychotropic substances or their analogues scheduled due to their abuse or possible danger to the health of the Czech Republic's population.
Draft Regulation amending Government Regulation No 463/2013 on schedules of addictive substances, as amended by Government Regulation No 243/2015.
The schedules in the Government Regulation on addictive substances, issued pursuant to § 44c(1) of Act No 167/1998 on addictive substances, are supplemented by 60 new synthetic drugs and by another 3 addictive substances recommended for placement on the schedules by a working group of the Early Warning System for new synthetic drugs, working alongside the National Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Addiction.The working group of the Early Warning System collects and assesses data on the production, distribution and use of new psychoactive substances in the Czech Republic, and ensures a rapid exchange of information at national and international level. Its goal is to provide, as quickly as possible, the best information on the presence and use of new psychoactive substances in the Czech Republic and to develop cooperation within the scope of the European Union in the area of drugs.Keywords: addictive substances, drugs, synthetic drugs
