This standard covers the main dimensional characteristics of combed v pulley groove profiles used with PK profiled, combed, endless v belts for automotive auxiliary drive applications. The arrangement of combed v belts and pulleys on PH, PJ, PK, PL and PM profiles for industrial and non-automotive applications is the subject of the ISO 9982 "belt drive - pulleys and v-belts for industrial applications - PH, PJ, PK, PL and PM profiles: dimensions" standard. The dimensions and tolerances of the PK belt profile are the same in both international standards.
