The draft regulates the quarantine requirements for the importation of Korean kiwifruits. Fresh Korean kiwifruits shall be subject to a system approach including registration of supplying orchards and packinghouses, pre-selection procedures, and export inspection. The fresh kiwifruits would also have to be imported in commercial consignments and accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate issued by the National Plant Protection Organization of Korea, declaring that the regulated measures addressed in this draft quarantine requirements are met.
