Pressure regulators for liquefied petroleum gas are subject to mandatory inspection under the certification system of the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI). The BSMI is proposing to adopt the revised CNS 7088 "Pressure regulators for liquefied petroleum gas" (2019) as the new testing and inspection standard, to replace CNS 7088 (1998). It is proposed that, beginning from 1 May 2020, pressure regulators for liquefied petroleum gas covered in the inspection scope must comply with the revised CNS 7088 when imported or placed on the market. The conformity assessment procedure of the pressure regulators for liquefied petroleum gas is Type-Approved Batch Inspection or Registration of Product Certification (RPC) Scheme.
