The DLD order on temporary suspension of importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Hungary to prevent the spread of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (Subtype H5N1).
The OIE reported an outbreak of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Hajdú-Bihar in Hungary. Therefore, it is necessary for Thailand to prevent the entry of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) disease into the country. By virtue of Animal Epidemics Act B.E. 2558 (2015), the importation of live poultry and poultry carcasses from Hajdú-Bihar in Hungary is temporarily suspended for 90 days after publication in the Thai Royal Gazette (24 June 2022).
