The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) has proposed to withdraw TIS 183 – 2547(2004): Glow-starters for Fluorescent Lamps and replace it with TIS 183 – 25XX(20XX): Glow-starters for Fluorescent Lamps as a mandatory standard.
This standard specifies glow-starters used with pre-heat type fluorescent lamps and glow-starters for class II fluorescent lamp luminaires. The standard comprises 2 sections as the following:
