Draft Thai Industrial Standard for Cold-formed Structural Steel Sections for General Structure (TIS 1228 - 25XX (20XX)) (29 page(s), in English)

The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) has proposed to withdraw TIS 1228-2549 (2006) Cold Formed Structural Steel Sections which is a mandatory standard and replace it with TIS 1228-25XX (20XX) Cold-formed Structural Steel Sections for General Structure. The standard covers uncoated structural steel made from hot-rolled steel (painted and unpainted) by the process of cold forming up to 6.0 mm in thickness, which intended for general structures. The standard prescribes types and grades; shape, size and tolerances; requirements i.e. general characteristics,coating, chemical composition, mechanical properties; marking and labelling; sampling and criteria for conformity and testing.
