Amendment of "Standard for Determining Unfair Labelling and Advertising of Foods" (9 page(s), in Korean)

Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of Republic of Korea is proposing to amend the "Standard for Determining Unfair Labelling and Advertising of Foods".

The main changes proposed are:

1) Harmonize with the "NO SUGAR ADDED" standard in the "Foods Labelling Standards Notification" that is under revision;

2) Eliminate trademarks specified under Trademark Act and names of businesses which include expressions such as "natural" or "nature" from unfair labelling and advertising.
