Pet food (HS Code 23.09 Preparations of a kind used in animal feeding)

Amendment to "Ministerial Ordinance on Specifications and Standards of Pet Food" (Ordinance No. 1 of 28 April 2009 of the Ministry of Agriculture, forestry and Fisheries/Ministry of the Environment).

MAFF will revise the Maximum level of Arsenic in pet food from "Arsenic 15 μg/g" to "Inorganic Arsenic (sum of As(Ⅲ) and As(Ⅴ)) 2 μg/g" in "Ministerial Ordinance on Specifications and Standards of Pet Food" (Ordinance No. 1 of 28 April 2009 of the Ministry of Agriculture, forestry and Fisheries/Ministry of the Environment).
