A second amendment to the Mandatory Standard SI 1317 dealing with single tap and combination tap. This amendment changes the following:

·         Adds to the standard's scope a clarification that the standard does not apply to automatic or mechanical shut-off taps, which are governed by different standards;

·        Replaces the Hebrew part of section 5.1 and requires that taps in contact with drinking water shall comply with the requirements specified in Israeli Standard SI 5452. Exempt from this requirement are taps for washing machines, taps for flush toilets, bidet taps for an intimate wash, and few others.
