Revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 20 part 1, dealing with luminaires. This draft standard revision adopts the International Standard IEC 60598‑1 - Edition 8.0: 2014-05 and Amendment 1 - Edition 8.0: 2017-09, with a few changes that appear in the standard's Hebrew section.
Both the old standard and this new revised standard will apply from entry into force of this revision until 23 February 2021 (similar to the entry into force of the European Directive LVD). During this time, products may be tested according to the old or the new revised standard.
