Revision of the Mandatory Standard SI 1059, dealing with the tolerances for weight and volume of prepackaged food products. This draft standard revision adopts the international recommendation document of the International Organization of Legal Metrology OIML R 87: 2016, and therefore significantly differ from the old standard and includes a few changes that appear in the standard's Hebrew section as follow:

·         Changes the normative references (paragraph A);

·         Adds new definitions, such as: consumer, medium, misleading prepackage and nominal quantity (paragraph 2);

·         Replaces metrological requirements for packages (paragraph 3); Replaces a reference in the general inspection requirement (paragraph 4.1.1).
