Referring to the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No 14 of 2021 on Implementation of Performance Standards Minimum Energy (SKEM) for Energy Utilizing Households, the Minister then issues a Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 114.K/EK.07/DJE/2021 on the Minimum Energy Performance Standards (SKEM) and Energy Saving Label for Fan Devices.
Domestic manufacturers and importers of fan are required to apply for Minimum Energy Performance Standards (SKEM) through the inclusion of energy-saving labels.
The Minimum Energy Performance Standards values for fan are 0.6 (zero point six) for fan with blade diameter less than 12 inches and 1.0 (one point zero) for fan with blade diameter more than 12 inches. Inclusion of the Energy Saving label originating from import products are done in the country of origin. The Energy Saving Label is affixed to or attached with not-easily removed material.
