Draft Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources regarding Mandatory implementation of the Indonesian National Standard for Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Modules (33 page(s), in Indonesian)

Draft Decree requires that Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Modules, which are distributed in Indonesia market, to comply with:

1.         SNI IEC 61215-1: 2016, Terrestrial Photovoltaic Module (FV)- design qualification and type attestation- Part 1 : Test requirement;

2.         SNI IEC 61215-2: 2016,  Terrestrial Photovoltaic Module (FV)- design qualification and type attestation- Part 2 : Test procedures;

3.         SNI IEC 61215-1-1: 2016, Terrestrial Photovoltaic Module (FV)- design qualification and type attestation- Part 1-1: Specific requirements for testing Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Module. 

Manufacturer or importers shall obtain Approval for the Use of SNI Mark (SPPT SNI) and put SNI marking on the products after the product certified by the Product Certification Body accredited by National Accreditation Committee of Indonesia /KAN. 

Crystalline Silicon Photovolatic Modules that are exempt from compulsory SNI were those to be used as : SPPT-SNI issuance test sample ; and / or test sample for research and development. 

Issuance of SPPT SNI as intended in this regulation is carried out by Product Certification Body through Type 5 Certification System based on SNI ISO/IEC 17067 Conformity Assessment- Fundamental product certification and product certification scheme guidelines.  This decree will come into force 12 months after the date of promulgation.
