The notified draft Royal Decree establishes regulations governing the characterization and registration of agricultural machinery, as well as a voluntary quality mark for agricultural machines. Agricultural, livestock and forestry machinery is classified and registered accordingly, thereby providing the sector with a useful, up-to-date database and facilitating access to information. The establishment of voluntary quality tests based on the verification of technical procedures, which test the agronomic and safety performance, environmental protection and energy efficiency of such machinery, is promoted.
