The notified Ecuadorian Technical Regulation establishes the requirements to be met by single-wheeled hand-propelled wheelbarrows, prior to the marketing of domestic and imported products, with the aim of protecting human safety and preventing deceptive practices. The Technical Regulation applies to single-wheeled hand-propelled wheelbarrows for use in industry, in agriculture and on building sites.
