The notified Regulation establishes the requirements and procedures for the importation, exportation and/or marketing of seeds, in order to promote the marketing and use of good quality seeds, and to prevent misleading practices, by means of a conformity assessment. It also applies to seeds of species used in agricultural, livestock-rearing and forestry activities by importers, exporters and marketers of seeds.
