The notified draft Resolution establishes the technical regulation for articles of glass, ceramic and glass-ceramic, tableware and kitchenware of glass, ceramic and glass-ceramic in contact with foodstuffs, and ceramic ware used for cooking food, which are manufactured or imported for marketing in the national territory, with the aim of minimizing the risks to human health and safety that may arise from the release of lead and cadmium, and preventing deceptive practices.
