The standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, package and label for substances that are harmful to the human body and the environment in various woodenware coatings. In this standard, limitation requirements are put forward for the following harmful substances: volatile organic compounds (VOC), formaldehyde，total lead, soluble heavy metals (Cd, Cr, Hg) , sum of glycol ethers and esters，four kinds of derivatives of benzene，sum of free diisocyanates, methanol, sum of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, sum of halohydrocarbons, sum of  phthalate esters, sum of alkylphenol polyethoxylates.
